Who does not like the taste of warm and creamy cheese sauce with easily roasted gnocchis? Today I will show you my recipe for Gnocchi and Cheese which is done in 20 minutes.
Gnocchi and Cheese. The sound of this recipe needs to melt in one’s mouth. Especially during stressful days this recipe is warming up your soul. Not only that it is done in 15 minutes but this dish is lighting up your day. Once you have tasted the warm and creamy cheese sauce combined with crispy roasted gnocchi, you will never wish for any other dish than my Gnocchi and Cheese.
How to make my Gnocchi with Cheese
For this dish you only need butter, flour, milk, cheddar, parmesan and gnocchi. We will use butter, flour and milk for the basic sauce. At the same time you need to roast the gnocchi in a different pan until they get roasted flavors. The roux will be combined with cheddar. Afterwards mix the Gnocchi together with the cheese sauce. If you like you can give it some parsley at the end. Done are the Gnocchi and Cheese.

Gnocchi and Cheese
Ingredients
- 400g Gnocchi
- 10g Butter
- 1 TS Flour
- 300ml Milk 1,5%
- 70g Cheddar, in cubes
- 30g Parmesan, grated
- Salt, Pepper
Directions
- Step 1 Roast the Gnocchi in a pan until they have roasted flavor on each side.
- Step 2 Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour with a whisk. Pour in milk while stirring and bring to the boil until the sauce thickens.
- Step 3 Add the cheddar and the parmesan to the sauce and stir until everything has dissolved. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finally stir in the gnocchi.
